Over time the wood darkens to a medium brown. Osage Orange is a difficult wood to work with because it is extremely hard and dense. It turns very well and has no issues with gluing or finishing. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOsage Orange is a gnarly tree that often has a crooked trunk that makes it almost impossible to use as long clear lumber.
