The most obvious is the tiny holes from the beetle boring through, but it also leaves some interesting streaking caused from a fungus it carries on it's legs. Of course it goes without saying all our lumber is kiln dried and these visitors are no longer an issue!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere can be a variance from batch to batch in terms of how much streaking we get - but we do try our best to send you the boards that have the most character.
