Craft Plywood Sheets

Craft plywood is thin hardwood plywood sized for smaller projects like laser cutting, CNC routing, and scroll saw work. Unlike construction plywood, it has decorative hardwood face veneers with an MDF core which gives it an attractive appearance on both sides.

We carry craft plywood in Cherry, Maple, Walnut, White Oak, Red Oak, Ebony, Rosewood, and Zebrawood. Prefinished versions are available in Cherry, Maple, and Walnut.

Craft plywood is available in multiple sheet sizes and thicknesses. Sizing varies by species, check the individual product pages for the full range available in each wood.

Thickness options vary by species, but we carry craft plywood in sizes suitable for both thin detail work and thicker structural cuts. Common options include 1/8" and 1/4". Check the individual product listing for what's available in your chosen species.

Unfinished craft plywood has a raw hardwood face that you finish yourself. Prefinished craft plywood has a factory-applied finish already on the surface.

Yes. The hardwood face veneers on our craft plywood cut cleanly and engrave well.

The Exotic Collection pack includes a selection of our more uncommon species, a good option if you want to try materials like Zebrawood, Rosewood, or Ebony.

Yes. Unfinished craft plywood can be painted, stained, or finished with oils and topcoats. 

Baltic birch has a birch veneer and an all-wood core. Craft plywood has a real hardwood face veneer over an MDF core, which gives it a smoother, more consistent surface for laser cutting and detail work. We carry both.

Yes, craft plywood ships across Canada. Smaller sheet sizes are well suited to standard shipping. Full sheets and bulk orders may have different shipping options, check the product page or contact us for details.
