Custom live edge tables are a specialty of ours. We build each piece to order, so you get a table that is entirely your own.
Pick Your Wood
Our most popular species for live edge tables is Black Walnut. It has a dark, rich color with striking contrasting sapwood and is a timeless addition to any home. Maple is another great option if you prefer something a little lighter. Our staff are happy to walk you through what we have and help you find the right fit.

We stock over 10 leg styles in black matte powder coat. These are classic options that work well with just about any live edge table. If you have something more specific in mind, we can also arrange custom metal work through our in-house fabricator.

Our custom shop is currently working on a 6 to 8 week turnaround. Once you finalize all the sizes and details we can give you a more accurate timeline.
Where do your live edge slabs come from?

We are proud to say that 100% of our live edge slabs come from Canada, most often from Ontario and Quebec. If you already have slabs and just need someone to build the table, we are happy to discuss that too. We will usually ask you to bring them in so we can properly assess the work involved before putting together an estimate.
When do I pay, and how much?

All custom work requires a 50% deposit or $1000 (whichever is more) upfront to get your project scheduled. Once the table is complete we will reach out to arrange pickup or delivery and settle the remaining balance.
What about legs?

We sell legs and encourage you to factor them in early. We also have a fabricator who is usually able to build whatever we can dream up. Send us some ideas and we will put together a pricing option. If you already have legs we can install them for you as well. Cost depends on complexity and whether we need to supply the hardware. We can work through the details as we finalize your table.

Most residential tables leave our shop finished with Osmo hard wax/oil. We have a display in our showroom that clearly shows the difference between the sheen options. For heavy use or a higher gloss look, we also offer a spray lacquer finish. This is the same finish we use for commercial restaurant applications and comes at a higher price point.

If you are in Ottawa or the surrounding area you can pick up at our shop at 3-145 Bentley Avenue, or we can arrange local delivery. Outside our local market, we offer crating services and ship across Canada and the continental United States. Get in touch for a shipping quote.
