For turners who are just getting started and want to try three of our more popular Exotic species, or for anyone looking for some savings - this pack is for you. We will provide you with 3 x high quality turning squares/spindles in Cherry (1), Maple (1), and Walnut (1) in the dimensions of your choice. Our 2" blanks have already been kiln dried and are ready to be "turned" into your next great project!

We can sometimes accommodate a larger blank than our standard sizes. Please email us for availability and a quote.

Dimensions may vary +/- 1/4" as we often prefer to lightly skip dress the turning blanks to reveal grain & colour. Some blanks may also come with waxed faces and ends.

Colour and Workability

When freshly cut the heartwood of Purpleheart is a  dull grayish/purplish brown. Upon exposure the wood becomes a deeper eggplant purple. With further age and exposure to UV light, the wood becomes a dark brown with a hint of purple. This color-shift can be slowed and minimized by using a UV inhibiting finish on the wood.
