Join Louis Boucher to build your own cutting board. You will leave this class with a finished cutting board ready for immediate use!

Students will start the class by learning the glue-up process for cutting boards. Once they have been placed in clamps they will be set aside and students will pick from a pre-made glue-up and learn how to flatten/plane, sand and shape your board. After the board is flattened, sanded, and routed; students will apply finish with Honey Bee's Natural Wood Cream (a combination of mineral oil and beeswax).

In the class students can expect to use a planer, table saw, drum sander, router, palm sander and drill.

All skill levels are welcome, but this class will move at a pace comfortable for a beginner making their first cutting board.
