Instant LED-UV Curing Hardwax-Oil

Application Instructions

Application amount for LED Smart Oil is approx. 10-15g/m²

Equipment needed:

• White Pad or Roller
• Osmo 395nm LED-UV Lamp

Surface Preparation: The wood surface must be clean, dry and frost-free (moisture content max. 10 %).

Recommended sanding grit for wooden floors: P100-P120
Recommended sanding grit for furniture, doors etc.: P120-P180

1. Osmo LED Smart Oil is ready to use. Do not thin. Stir well.
2. Buff one coat into the surface of the wood using a non-abrasive white pad, such as Osmo White SuperPad or similar. Apply approximately 15-20g/m2 to the wood surface and buff until no circular swirl marks remain on the wood surface.
3. With the Osmo 395nm LED-UV lamp or similar, pass the curing lamp over the treated area slowly at a rate of approximately 5 seconds per foot with the lamp held at a height of 4-6 inches (10-15cm) above the wood surface.
4. A second optional coat may be applied which will increase both surface durability and sheen.
5. After the first coat has cured, lightly sand the surface with P320 grit sandpaper and remove sanding dust with a tack cloth.
6. Apply a second thin coat of approximately 5-6g/m2 to the wood surface with a non-abrasive white pad, such as Osmo White SuperPad or similar. Buff the surface of the wood until no circular swirl marks remain on the wood surface and then cure with LED-UV lamp, as outlined above in step 3.
   Once dried the surface is ready for regular use or packaging with no further cure period required.

Storage: 6 months if can is kept dry, closed tightly, and stored at temperatures between 5 °C and 35 °C. If thickened by frost, store 24-36 hours at room temperature before use.
