Black Limba Turning Blank

We will provide you with a high quality Limba bowl blank in the dimensions of your choice. This blank has already been kiln dried and is ready to be "turned" into your next great project!

We can sometimes accommodate a larger blank than our standard sizes. Please email us for availability and a quote.

Dimensions may vary +/- 1/4" as we often prefer to lightly skip dress the turning blanks to reveal grain & colour. Some blanks may also come with waxed faces and ends.

Colour and Workability

Limba is a striking species that provides a highly workable golden-yellow heartwood with smokey black streaks of colour. Many people know of Limba as being characterized as “White Limba” or “Black Limba”, although these are not separate species - it merely indicates whether there is a presence of black stripes or not!
