For turners who are just getting started and want to try three of our more popular Exotic wood species, or for anyone looking for some savings - this pack is for you. We will provide you with 3 x high quality turning blanks in Sapele (1), Black Limba(1), and Purpleheart (1) in the dimensions of your choice. Our 2" blanks have already been kiln dried and are ready to be "turned" into your next great project!

We can sometimes accommodate a larger blank than our standard sizes. Please email us for availability and a quote.

Dimensions may vary +/- 1/4" as we often prefer to lightly skip dress the turning blanks to reveal grain & colour. Some blanks may also come with waxed faces and ends.

Colour and Workability

Each of these species will bring something special to your next project. Sapele is easily recognizable for its rich reddish-brown colour and ribbon-stripe grain structure. Purpleheart brings a striking natural violet hue, although it will darken to a darker shade of indigo with time. Mahogany is known to be one of the most luxurious wood types around, and it will keep a golden, rosy hue even as it darkens with time. Each of these hardwoods will create an eye catching piece certain to stand out!

We recommend using Honey Bee's Natural Wood Cream for a long lasting and food safe finish. Made with only 2 ingredients - pure beeswax and 100% food grade mineral oil - this soft paste is easy to spread and will protect and enhance the natural beauty of your woodturning project.
