Yellow Birch Turning Square

We will provide you with a high quality yellow birch turning square in the dimensions of your choice. This blank has already been kiln dried and is ready to be "turned" into your next great project! We recommend using Honey Bee's Natural Wood Cream for a long lasting and food safe finish.

Please note the 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" are Dressed 4 Sides!

We can sometimes accommodate a larger blank than our standard sizes. Please email us for availability and a quote.

Dimensions may vary +/- 1/4" as we often prefer to lightly skip dress the turning blanks to reveal grain & colour.

Colour and Workability

Heartwood tends to be a light reddish brown, with nearly white sapwood. Occasionally figured pieces are available with a wide, shallow curl similar to the curl found in Cherry. There is virtually no color distinction between annual growth rings, giving Birch a somewhat dull, uniform appearance.
